In the course of its Event Management activities, the OST regularly organizes events designed specifically for the target group of Austrian scientists in North America.

OST Scientist Network events are designed to initiate and strengthen cooperation within the OST Scientist Network, to offer a platform for personal information exchange and discussion, and to initiate the discussion of certain topics as important issues in research and technology policy.

  Save the Date: Austrian Science Talk (AST) in Vancouver
  This year’s AST will take place on September 18, 2010 in Vancouver. Details on exact location and topics will be announced soon. The AST brings together Austrian scientists and scholars in North America with a delegation of Austrian experts in science, research, and technology Policy to discuss policy developments and new opportunities.   OST Scientist Network Event in San Diego
  On the occasion of the 2010 annual AAAS Conference in San Diego, the OST and ASciNA organized a reception for Austrian scientists. Following the workshop organized by the European Commission on European scientists in the US, a networking dinner took place at a local restaurant.
