September 30, 2004 Dinner Reception: Welcoming newly elected ASciNA chairperson Philipp Steger, the Austrian Science Attaché to the US and Canada, organized a social gathering at his home for Austrian scientists in the Greater Washington, DC, area. The evening was a farewell event for Dr. Bernhard Voller and welcoming event for Dr. Ruth Pfeiffer, the newly elected ASciNA Washington, DC, chairperson. Voller’s farewell note was published in bridges, the OST’s online magazine on S&T policy.
