The conference brings together Austrian scientists and scholars in North America from all disciplines, in particular life sciences, natural sciences, computer sciences, technology and engineering, humanities, and social sciences, with an Austrian delegation of representatives from government, universities, research institutes and industry. The Austrian Science Talk provides participants with an opportunity to learn about recent R&D policy developments in Austria, to discuss new career and funding opportunities at universities, research institutions and in the private sector in Austria, and to facilitate the establishment of research collaborations between North America and Austria. The conference facilitates discussion, interaction and also provides an ideal opportunity of networking.
