Since 1998, Hannes Bauer has been employed in the Austrian Ministry for Transport, Innovation, and Technology. He supports the program management of the Austrian program on technologies for sustainable development and the ongoing management of the subprogram “Buildings of tomorrow” (www.HAUSderZukunft.at).

He is responsible for the information transfer and project management of R&T projects within the field of sustainable development such as passive houses, products from renewable raw materials, and renewable energy technologies (www.energytech.at).
