For the past 21 years, Mr. Amon has had a distinguished career in engineering and construction. He has a wide range of experience in mechanical design and construction, including semiconductor facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, and other high technology industries. He received his undergraduate degree in structural engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of Technology, and went on to earn a Master's degree in engineering and management from Stanford University. In addition, Mr. Amon has been a Registered Mechanical Engineer since 1988. For the past three-and-a-half years, he has been working on a variety of energy efficiency and water conservation projects as the national energy manager for the US Environmental Protection Agency.
