Klaus Puchbauer-Schnabel is a staff member of the Department of Research and Technology at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Youth, and Family where he is specializing in eMobility matters. From April to June 2010, Puchbauer participated in the OST Stagiaire Program and spent three months at the Office of Science & Technology as a visiting expert.

He has been working for the Austrian Federal Ministry of Economy, Youth, and Family since 2009. Prior to that, he worked for the Austrian Research Promotion Agency, the Austrian Rector's Conference, and the Ministry of Science.

Puchbauer-Schnabel studied international business administration at the University of Vienna, specializing in international energy management and business information systems.
