Maria Hinnerth worked as an intern at the Office of Science & Technology from April to June 2010.

Before joining the OST, Hinnerth interned at the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety and at Agrana, a sugar factory. In addition, she has worked as a student tutor for applied molecular biology courses.

Hinnerth holds a Master of Science in biotechnology from the University of Natural Resources and Applied Life Sciences, Vienna. Prior to her biotechnology studies, Hinnerth completed the diploma study in biotechnical processes at the University of Applied Sciences, Tulln, with emphasis on natural compounds technology.
