![]() Timothy Conley Associate Professor of English Bradley University English Department Peoria, Illinois Timothy Conley, associate professor of English at Bradley University, has served twice as a Fulbright Professor in American literature in the Department of English at the University of Vienna. With Professor Kurt Mayer, he co-taught a travel course, “Live(s) on the Mississippi,” with students from Vienna and Bradley and, since 2006, has been director of Bradley's Study Abroad Program in Vienna. His publications include studies of Benjamin Franklin, Hector St. John de Crèvecoeur, John Bartram, William Faulkner, and the discipline of American Literature. In 2004, he was also Fulbright Professor at the University of Sarajevo. With Professor Astrid Fellner and Mag. Klaus Heissenberger , he developed the Bradley-Vienna model for collaborative study abroad programs. Conley received his Ph.D. and M.A. from Pennsylvania State University. He is also a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of St. Louis University's Honors Program. Contributions |
