Donal Nugent is a writer based in Dublin, Ireland.

Born in 1972, he studied Philosophy at Trinity College, Dublin, and has worked as a news journalist, magazine editor and speech writer. In 2003 he was Science Journalism Fellow with the Washington, DC-based Council for Agricultural Science and Technology (CAST).

Nugent is currently pursuing a Master’s in Screenwriting with Dun Laoghaire College of Art, Design and Technology in his native Ireland and is developing a number of writing projects as part of this.
