Karoline Peter is a nutritional scientist who has done internships in different areas of the life sciences.

She has completed internships at the Department of Molecular Biology at the University of Zagreb, the Austrian Agency for Health and Food Safety (AGES), and the Diabetes and Adiposity Ambulance Service at Vienna General Hospital. Her wanderlust and curiosity led Peter to Costa Rica and Thailand, where she worked on diverse projects. She was also an intern at the Office of Science & Technology from January to March 2009.

Peter earned her master’s degree in nutritional sciences from the University of Vienna.
