![]() Gernot Wagner Economist Environmental Defense Fund New York, NY http://www.gwagner.com/about/index.html Gernot Wagner is an economist at the Environmental Defense Fund (EDF), where he focuses on global greenhouse gas emissions reduction pathways and works on developing and applying economically sound climate policy in the United States and internationally. Prior to his work at EDF, he worked for the Boston Consulting Group and wrote for the editorial board of the Financial Times in London as a Peter Martin Fellow, covering economics, energy, and the environment. Wagner holds a joint bachelor's degree in environmental science and public policy, and in economics, as well as a master's and a Ph.D. in political economy and government from Harvard and a master's in economics from Stanford.
