 Joseph Romm Senior Fellow Center for American Progress Washington, DC Joseph Romm is a senior fellow at the Center for American Progress, where he oversees the blog ClimateProgress.org. Romm is author of a book on climate science, solutions, and politics entitled Hell and High Water: Global Warming-the Solution and the Politics (Morrow, 2007). He is the former acting assistant secretary of energy efficiency and renewable energy at the US Department of Energy, and has written and lectured widely on energy technology, environmental management, and competitiveness. Romm holds a Ph.D. in physics from M.I.T. and did his thesis work at the Scripps Institution of Oceanography in La Jolla, California. Contributions
