The Austrian-Canadian Society was founded in 2003 and considers itself a bilateral friendship society, with particular interest in bilateral contacts in the fields of traditional diplomacy, business, science, and culture. Interpersonal relationships are also of the highest importance in this regard. The society considers itself to be the central platform for bilateral exchange/ relationships between Austria and Canada and is constantly trying to deepen, as well as improve, the friendships and relationships between the two countries.
