The Vienna Graduate School of Finance (VGSF) is a "center of excellence in finance," located in Vienna, Austria. The VGSF was founded in 2005 by three leading Austrian academic institutions - the Institute for Advanced Studies Vienna, the University of Vienna, and the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration - and is supported by the Austrian Science Fund (FWF). The Vienna Graduate School of Finance sees itself as an institution that encourages and promotes research in the field of finance and provides an excellent and highly competitive PhD program. The school offers an international research environment to students from around the world. The VGSF is specialized in all major fields of finance including asset pricing, corporate finance, financial institutions, risk management, and market microstructure.
