Ines Pree is currently pursuing her Ph.D. studies, which she started in 2006 at the University of Vienna where she is doing research on human allergies.

During her studies, she specialized in immune biology and worked on a research project for her diploma thesis in the field of transplantation. Her work has been published in scientific journals and presented at national and international meetings. From January to March 2007 she interrupted her research project for a three-month internship at the Office of Science & Technology.

Pree completed her master's degree in microbiology and genetics at the University of Vienna in 2005.
