Martin Tichy is currently in charge of the international marketing efforts of the Vienna Symphonic Library GmbH, an Austrian-based sample database and music software developer, as well as a marketing consultant for ILIO Entertainments, a Californian music software distributor.

Prior to the foundation of his own marketing agency in Vienna in 1997, Sound Communication, he worked as a product manager for Warner Music Austria and EMI Austria, as well as for Product Placement International, a promotion agency. Martin has given lectures at the Entrepreneurs College and the Institute for Advertising & Marketing Research at the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria. He has worked as a music producer for major record companies and has performed in more than 500 live concerts playing the electric violin.

Tichy holds a Master’s degree from the University of Economics and Business Administration in Vienna, Austria.
