Robert Temel is an architecture and urbanism theorist based in Vienna. He was a member of the Program Committee of the scope II conference. Besides his work with uma, he has been chair of the Österreichische Gesellschaft für Architektur (ÖGFA, Austrian Architectural Society).

Among his recent publications are "Architekturpolitik in Europa," in: Österreichischer Baukulturreport 2006; and Temporary Urban Spaces and Concepts for the Use of City Spaces, Basel, 2006 (with Florian Haydn).
