![]() Susan Piedmont-Palladino Associate Professor College of Architecture and Urban Studies Virginia Tech's Washington Alexandria Architecture Center Washington, DC Susan Piedmont-Palladino is an architect and an associate professor at Virginia Tech's Washington Alexandria Architecture Center. She recently joined the staff of the National Building Museum as a curator, after having been a consulting curator and writer for Big and Green: Toward Sustainable Architecture in the 21st Century and Masonry Variations, and the guest curator for Tools of the Imagination. Piedmont-Palladino will be the curator for the upcoming Green Communities exhibition, scheduled to open in fall 2008. She is the former national president of Architects/Designers/Planners for Social Responsibility and has lectured and written on design/build, sustainability, and the design process. She served as a consultant to the Department of Energy on the development of the rules and regulations for the Solar Decathlon. Contributions
