 Sigurd Höllinger Director General for Higher Education Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture Vienna, Austria Sigurd Höllinger is Director General for Higher Education at the Austrian Federal Ministry of Education, Science and Culture (BMBWK). He is the author of numerous publications in the field of education and science policy. He wrote his habilitation on the sociology of education while attending the University of Graz in 1983. Sigurd Höllinger pursued university studies in physics, ethnology and sociology. He holds a Dr. phil. in sociology from the University of Vienna. Contributions
