bridges vol. 10, June 2006 / Noteworthy Information The International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (IIASA )
provides full funding for two young postdoctoral scientists during
their research at IIASA. IASA is a non-governmental research
organization located in Laxenburg near Vienna and sponsored by its
National Member Organizations in Africa, Asia, Europe, and North
America. It conducts interdisciplinary scientific studies on
environmental, economic, technological, and social issues in the
context of human dimensions of global change.
