Caroline Adenberger has been a team member of the OST since July 2004; since January 2005 she has been working as editor for bridges.
She holds a master's degree in law from the University of Vienna, Austria. During her studies, she participated in various programs that have taken her to the Brookes University in Oxford (GB) and the Université de Fribourg (CH). The main focus of her legal studies was commercial law.
Besides her studies, she gained experience as a law clerk in Vienna and consulted for companies in Austria and Switzerland in the areas of public relations and event management.

Charlotte Alber is a project officer for brainpower austria (bpa) at the Bureau for International Research and Technology Cooperation (BIT). Ms Alber studied Business Administration at the
Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration.
During her studies she worked for Austrian Lotteries and for the Austrian Broadcasting Corporation Radio & Television (ORF). While working as a project officer at the Department of Marketing at the University of Vienna, Ms Alber participated in the development and implementation of an EU-funded business and marketing concept for an international internet marketplace. Subsequently, Ms Alber managed the online service "Schreiber.link" at the department for New Technologies at the Austrian Postal Service, Post AG. Ms Alber has extensive teaching experience in the fields of marketing and E-commerce. She has taught at the University of Vienna, the Vienna University of Economics and Business Administration and at IMC Krems.

Rudolf Albrecht

Since 1984 Rudolf Albrecht has occupied various positions (data analysis group leader, deputy head, and later head/ST-ECF, now senior scientist) at the ESA/ESO Space Telescope European Coordinating Facility in Garching, Germany.
From 1972 to 1981, he was assistant professor at the Institute for Astronomy in Vienna. During this period Albrecht worked with numerous international collaborations, among them at ESO (Chile), Cerro Tololo (Chile), Mauna Kea (Hawaii, US), and DTM (Washington, DC, US).
From 1976 to 1993, Albrecht was a member of the Investigation Definition Teams for the Faint Object Camera (the ESA contribution to the Hubble Space Telescope). He also headed Scientific Data Processing at the Space Telescope Science Institute in Baltimore, Maryland (1981–1984).
Albrecht holds a Ph.D. in astronomy and physics from the University of Vienna, Austria. In 1970–1971 he was a postdoctoral fellow at Lowell Observatory in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Philip G. Altbach is Monan Professor of Higher Education and director of the Center for International Higher Education at Boston College.
He is the author of Comparative Higher Education, co-editor of American Higher Education in the 21st Century, editor of The Decline of the Guru and other books. He has also been the editor of the Review of Higher Education.
Philip Altbach has held fellowships from the German Academic Exchange Service, the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, and was the 2005-2006 Distinguished Scholar Leader of the Fulbright New Century Scholars program.
Philip Altbach holds a B. A., an M. A. and a Ph.D degree from the University of Chicago.

Dan Amon

For the past 21 years, Mr. Amon has had a distinguished career in engineering and construction. He has a wide range of experience in mechanical design and construction, including semiconductor facilities, pharmaceutical facilities, and other high technology industries. He received his undergraduate degree in structural engineering from the University of Minnesota Institute of
Technology, and went on to earn a Master's degree in engineering and management from Stanford University. In addition, Mr. Amon has been a Registered Mechanical Engineer since 1988. For the past
three-and-a-half years, he has been working on a variety of energy efficiency and water conservation projects as the national energy manager for the US Environmental Protection Agency.

Vicki Arroyo

Vicki Arroyo has been the director of policy analysis for the Pew Center on Global Climate Change since 1998. She also served as managing editor of the Pew Center's book: Climate Change: Science, Strategies, and Solutions. Ms. Arroyo serves on the Editorial Board of the Climate Policy Journal and teaches a course on environmental policy and politics at Catholic University in Washington, DC.
Ms. Arroyo has had over 20 years of experience in the environmental field. Prior to joining the Pew Center, she practiced environmental law with the Washington, DC, office of Kilpatrick Stockton, served in two offices of the US Environmental Protection Agency, was the director of policy analysis for the Louisiana Department of Environmental Quality and worked on emergency response issues for the National Institute for Chemical Studies in Charleston, West Virginia.
Ms. Arroyo holds a bachelor of science in biology, magna cum laude, from Emory University (double major in philosophy); a master's of public administration from Harvard University, and a Juris Doctor, magna cum laude, from Georgetown University Law Center, where she served as editor-in-chief of the Georgetown International Environmental Law Review.
